What the library holds
Ten kinds of hardware, which between them cover what goes into a frameless cabinet: drawer slides, hinges and hinge plates, pulls, knobs, legs, shelf pins, connectors, and the channel profiles and end caps a Gola kitchen runs on. Every item carries a name, a manufacturer, a SKU, a unit price and a link back to the product page you bought it from. You can crop a photo onto it as well, which is the fastest way to tell two nearly identical pulls apart in a list.
Prices are recorded the way the trade quotes them. A drawer slide is priced per pair, left and right together, because that is how you buy one. Everything else is priced per piece. Leave the price blank when you do not know it yet, rather than typing a guess that later reads as a fact.
Slides carry their own specs
A slide is the one piece of hardware whose dimensions change the cabinet around it, so it records more than the rest: side mount or undermount, clearance per side, vertical drop, minimum cabinet depth, bottom inset, load rating, and whether it needs a rear notch. There is a note field for anything else worth remembering about it. Those are the numbers a drawer box gets sized from, which is why they belong on the slide rather than in somebody's head.
How a shop uses it
Set it up once, at the start. Add the two or three slides you fit in most of your drawers, the hinge you buy by the box, and the pull the client picked last month. After that you are choosing from your own shelf instead of retyping a catalog number, and when a supplier raises a price it is one edit here rather than a hunt through old jobs.
Some hardware is already there when you arrive. Built-in items cannot be edited, so you cannot break one by accident. If you want your own version, with your price or your name for it, duplicate it and the copy is yours. Anything you have stopped buying can be hidden rather than deleted, which takes it out of the everyday list without throwing it away. Edits save as you type, so there is no save button to forget.
The units are yours to pick
Lengths show in millimetres, centimetres, decimal inches, fractional inches or feet and inches, and load ratings in either kilograms or pounds. Switching the unit converts what is stored rather than relabelling it, so a slide entered at 550 mm is the same slide when the page is showing you inches. That matters more here than almost anywhere else on the site, because a hardware spec read in the wrong unit is a drawer box cut to the wrong width.
