Sheet Stock · your shop inventory

Full sheets and offcuts you can cut from. Remnants are used up first. Your offcut rack is saved to your account and shared across every project and device.

Add from the Materials Library

Pick a sheet you defined in the Materials Library. Its thickness and sheet size come straight from the library, so they always match. You only set quantity, cost, and whether it's a remnant.

Manage library ↗

Add a sheet or remnant · custom / manual

For stock that isn't in your library yet. Pick the unit next to each field (in / ft / mm / cm), or just type a value with a suffix like 3/4, 18mm, 4ft.

Tick “grain” if the grain runs along the length.

Edge Banding

The tapes you apply to finished edges. Their thickness is automatically deducted from the cut size of any edge you band. Shared across projects.

Pick edge banding you defined in the Materials Library. Its name, type, thickness, and tape width come straight from the library.

Add edge banding · custom / manual

For tape that isn't in your library yet. Thickness drives the cut-size math, so it matters most. Typical: PVC ~1 mm, pre-glued wood veneer ~0.5 mm.

Parts to Cut

Enter the finished size of each part. For door & drawer fronts, pick the banding for each edge. The tool gives you back the cut size to make before banding.

Add a part

Choose the material this part is cut from. Don’t see it? Add it under Sheet Stock first.

Banded edges shave their tape thickness off the cut.

Cut List

Every piece to cut, straight from your parts. Cut sizes have banding already accounted for. Available before you nest; the # matches the Layout diagrams once you generate them.

Optimized Layout

Nested cut diagrams for every sheet, plus the exact cut sizes. The saw's cut width (kerf) and edge tape (banding) are already subtracted.

Options

Tune these to match your saw and stock, then re-generate.

Remnants first cuts from your saved offcuts before any new sheet; best yield uses the fewest total sheets.

Saw methods lock one orientation per part type so identical parts share a rip strip (rip → gang-crosscut); CNC allows free rotation for maximum yield.
