Pick light, dark, or follow your computer
The old pile of color themes is gone. There is one light and one dark, and a third option that just matches whatever your machine is already doing.
Three options, not ten
Light, Dark, and System. System reads your operating system setting and follows it, including when your machine flips to dark in the evening with the tab still open.
Ten themes was a nice demo and a bad product. Most of them were never going to be anyone’s daily driver, and every one of them was another set of colors to keep correct on every page.
Where to change it
Open the account button in the top right and the picker is in that menu. It used to be a button floating over the page, which had a habit of sitting on top of whatever you were trying to click. That is gone.
It applies everywhere
The choice is stored once and every page reads it, so the Designer, the cut list, the materials library and the guides all match instead of drifting apart.
Pages you can reach without signing in do not show the picker. They follow your computer, which is the right answer when there is no account to store a preference against.
