New Cabinet Project

No cabinets yet — add one below.
⚙ Construction Defaults

These defaults apply to every new cabinet. Each cabinet can override its own values where it makes sense. All measurements stored in mm internally.

Construction style

Per-cabinet override available.
Sides, top, bottom, fixed shelves, dividers.

Reveals (frameless full-overlay)

Gap above the topmost door / drawer face.
Gap below the bottom door / drawer face.
Gap on the left edge.
Gap on the right edge.
Gap between two adjacent doors / drawer fronts.

Back panel

Default 6mm (1/4").
Distance from carcass rear edge to the dado.

Nailers (mounting cleats)

Wall cabinets usually need both. Bases often need top only.
Width of the cleat (front-to-back).
Defaults to carcass thickness.

Adjustable shelves

Setback from front edge.
Total reduction in shelf length to clear sides (1mm/side typical).

Drawer slides

12.5mm typical for both undermount and side-mount.
Drawer-box length = depth − this. 50mm typical.
Box height = drawer-front height − this. 25mm typical.

Handles

Applies to all cabinets in this project unless a cabinet overrides it. Gola and J-pull reduce the top of door/drawer faces (Gola −73mm, J-pull −30mm, Edge pull −10mm).

Drawer boxes

All three sized identically — front/back fits between sides.
From bottom edge.

Applied side panels (exposed ends)

38mm = 1.5" typical.
How much narrower the carcass subside is vs the applied panel (front-to-back).

Face frame defaults

38mm = 1.5" typical.
Gap around door for inset doors.

Edge banding

Goes into the BANDING section of the CSV export.
19mm typical for 18mm carcass edges.
38mm typical to wrap a 38mm applied side.

Cabinets

Walls group cabinets by physical wall (e.g. back wall + left wall in an L-kitchen). Each wall has its own Upper and Lower sections.

Generated cut list — ready to export

Grain group Cabinet Description Material W (mm) L (mm) Qty Grain
📐 Sheet Layout — how sheet-good pieces lay out on each sheet

Each sheet-good material's pieces nested onto its sheet stock using a first-fit packing algorithm. Pieces with vertical grain stay long-axis-aligned; horizontal-grain pieces are rotated; no-grain pieces float to the best fit. Hardwood pieces appear in the Lumber List below — they're sold by board, not by sheet.

🌳 Lumber List — hardwood pieces with board-feet totals

Pieces cut from hardwood-type materials (face frames, hardwood doors, hardwood drawer parts, etc.) — listed individually with rough dimensions and rolled up to a board-feet total per species. Add ~25% to the BF total when ordering rough lumber to cover defects + S4S waste.

Edge banding totals — estimated, ±5%
