Changelog
What has actually shipped, newest first. Features you can open, behaviour that changed, and bugs that were biting somebody. The internal work that keeps the lights on is not here, because you cannot see it and it would bury the part you can.
September 2026
-
Trial-ending reminder emails stopped being silently skipped and logged as already sent for some accounts.
-
Adding a new wall now selects the new wall everywhere at once, instead of the on-screen tip pointing at it while the details panel still edits the wall you just finished.
-
The island's Width and Depth fields stopped reading a plain millimetre number as feet, which used to build an island a half-mile wide.
-
A cabinet's material now reads the same everywhere: the inspector, Project Setup and the cut list stopped disagreeing.
-
Clearing a cabinet away from what it overlaps now keeps offering the obstruction actually still in the way, instead of repeating the one it already left.
-
Clicking a catalog category while a search is active no longer shows it as empty or lists another category's cabinets under it.
-
A drawer face too tall for its cabinet is now offered a fix instead of being written straight into the parts list anyway.
-
The Problems panel and its count badge now clear a collision the moment the fix for it runs, instead of only after something unrelated changes.
-
Adding a cabinet from the catalog now goes to the run or island you actually clicked on, not wherever the last one landed.
August 2026
-
Sign-in stopped hanging forever for anyone whose browser could not reach our verification check.
-
The free cabinet-plans link sent by email opens your plans again, instead of a dead page that burned your one-time link.
-
The Cut List Optimizer is open to everyone for as long as the beta runs, not limited to certain plans.
-
Every plan now opens the Designer; a paying member stopped being refused a tool a visitor could already use.
-
Help buttons on the Materials page stopped accidentally toggling the checkbox or setting they were explaining, and clicking the Sold in label now does something instead of nothing.
-
The AI Designer stopped telling you a saved front style does not exist when it was only hidden.
-
A wall hidden behind the open details panel stays clickable now, instead of going dead while Fit insisted the whole drawing was already in view.
-
The cut sheet's inset blind-corner hinge note now names the hinge Blum actually sells for it.
-
A group of cabinets can span more than one room in the same job.
-
Cabinet dimensions stopped offering feet and inches, which never suited a cabinet part. The wall still measures in feet and inches, and a project saved in feet opens in fractional inches.
-
The Place my Systainers button on the upper bank shows its count and its hover text again after the bank redraws.
-
Materials you deleted stopped reappearing in the materials library.
-
Twelve places where text sat too faint against its background were corrected.
-
A button to reopen the setup walkthrough whenever you want it again.
-
The side panels in the Designer float and tuck away, so the drawing no longer resizes every time you open one.
-
Four ready-made Avery label sizes that fill the label editor in for you.
-
Sign-in came back on both sites after a deploy left out a file it needed.
-
The New Project dialog is readable in dark mode.
-
The cut list speaks up when a part runs longer than the board, and refuses a material with no thickness set instead of cutting it at zero.
-
The toe-kick notch is drawn as its real shape in the cut list instead of an approximation.
-
The project setup cards show pictures of what you are choosing rather than words alone.
-
Two separate bugs that were locking signed-in people out of both sites.
-
The cookie banner was rebuilt to explain what actually loads and why.
-
About and Team pages on both sites, saying who builds this and how.
-
The Systainer planner became its own product with its own name and site: StackDesign.
-
A support centre you can search, with help articles and a form that reaches a person.
-
Sign-in now lets the newest sign-in win, so a stuck session cannot lock you out of your own account.
-
Subscriptions went live through Stripe.
-
When a free trial runs out your saved work stays readable. You keep your drawings and your cut lists, you just cannot change them.
-
Twelve more verified appliances and a wider range of door sizes in the room catalogue.
July 2026
-
A quote you can hand a customer, generated straight from the design.
-
Door front styles became real cut fronts rather than labels: Shaker, raised panel, glass and five-piece.
-
Multi-room jobs. One project holds several named rooms, each with its own cut list or one combined list.
-
Face-frame and Gola doors were being cut 73mm short. They are not any more.
-
The elevation view became a drawing you can edit. Click a cabinet to change it, or add one right there.
