Service status

Is it up right now. The check below runs in your browser the moment this page loads, against the same endpoint our own uptime monitor watches, so what you are reading is the answer as of a few seconds ago rather than something typed here earlier.

Right now

Asking the service whether it is answering.

The check asks two things: whether the site itself answered, and whether the database behind sign-in and your saved projects answered. The second one is the one that matters. When the database is unreachable every page still loads perfectly and nobody can sign in or open a project, which is exactly the outage a check pointed at a web page would miss.

If your browser cannot reach the check at all, that is worth knowing too, and the card above says so rather than guessing. It usually means your own connection, a company network, or the site being down hard.

When a piece underneath us is having a bad morning

These products run on other people's services, and those companies publish their own live status pages. If sign-in is slow, a payment will not go through, or an email has not arrived, the answer is often on one of these before it is anywhere on our site.

The services CabDesign and StackDesign run on, and where each one publishes its status.

How you hear from us when something is wrong

We are a small shop and there is no incident desk. What there is: a monitor that watches the check above and wakes a person when it fails, an alert that fires when a payment goes through and the account it belongs to does not update, and an email to account holders when an outage touched their work or their billing.

If something is broken for you and this page says everything is answering, write to us. That gap is the most useful message we get, because it means the check is watching the wrong thing. Email support@cabdesign.app for CabDesign or support@stackdesign.app for StackDesign, and say what you were doing when it stopped.

CabDesign and StackDesign are built by Bespoke Woodcraft Studio, a custom cabinet shop in Los Angeles.
