What actually arrives

  • New guides as they publish - the 32mm system, Gola runs, cut-list and nesting, and the Systainer wall guides on the StackDesign side, written from real jobs.
  • Build notes when something in the shop changes how a job gets done, worth knowing whether or not you use the software.
  • Nothing else. No sales sequence, no daily noise. When there is nothing worth sending, nothing goes out.

We will send one email with a link to confirm it is you. Nothing is added to the list until you open it, so nobody can sign up an address they do not own. Your email goes to our list only, through Resend, the mail platform this site already runs on. No sharing, no selling, unsubscribe any time.

How often it goes out

There is no schedule, and this page is not going to invent one. It goes out when something is worth sending. As of late August 2026 that has meant nine guides and five blog posts, written over the weeks either side of the products going live, which is a pace set by how fast a working shop can write things down rather than by a content calendar. Some months will carry two letters and some will carry none.

That is the honest version, and it is also the one that keeps the list worth being on. A newsletter that has to fill a slot every Tuesday ends up sending you something to fill a slot. If you would rather not wait for the post, the guides and the blog are free to read at any time and nothing on either asks you to sign up first.

Why we ask you to confirm

When you press Subscribe, nothing is added to any list. One email goes to the address you typed, carrying a single-use link, and you are on the list only once you open that link. An unopened signup lapses by itself after a day and leaves no trace.

The reason is simple enough. Without that step, anybody who knows your address can put you on somebody else's mailing list, and the first you hear of it is mail you never asked for. The confirmation is the only way the list can tell the difference between you signing up and a stranger signing you up. It costs you one click and it means every address on the list belongs to somebody who wanted it there.

The mail goes through Resend, which is the platform this site already runs its sign-in and support mail through, so your address is not being handed to a new company. It goes on our list and nowhere else. Every letter carries an unsubscribe link, one click, no questions and no retention email afterwards.

One list, both products

CabDesign and StackDesign come out of the same shop and share one list rather than two. If you only care about one of them, that is fine: the letters say which product they are about in the first line, and a cabinet person can skip a Systainer wall the same way a Systainer person can skip a Gola run. Running two lists would have meant two signup pages, two unsubscribe states and two chances to send you the same thing twice.
