Free while we are in open beta, and here is what comes after
Everything is free right now. We are in open beta, so you get the whole product at no cost while we finish it, and there is no card to enter. The beta runs until October 31, 2026, and the prices below are what it will cost once it ends.
Free while we are in open beta
Sign up and use everything. No card, nothing to switch on: your free beta starts the moment you sign in. You get the whole product free while we finish it. The beta runs until October 31, 2026; if we need more time we will tell you by September 30, 2026, and either way we will email you before anything costs money.
Find a bug, earn a free month
Report a bug from inside the app. If it leads to a fix, you get a month of service free once paid plans start, up to six months.
Have a code from one of our cards?
Add it in your account and we will bank three free months for you, ready for the day the beta ends.
When the beta ends on October 31, 2026, your account moves onto a plan and the first month is free, with any months you banked added to it. If you saved a card, the plan then charges every month at the DIY price, listed further down under What the Designer will cost, and you can cancel online any time before the first charge. If you never saved a card, nothing is charged: your account moves to our free plan, where the Designer stays open and a cut list needs a paid plan.
Read the open beta terms for how the free months work and what happens when the beta closes.
The full Designer
The full room Designer is a plan of its own. Both plans open the same thing today.
- Design a whole room - cabinets, appliances, windows, doors, countertops and paint
- The floor plan, the elevation and the 3D view of the same room
- The AI Designer, which does real design work alongside you
- Your own materials library - the sheet goods, edgebanding and prices you buy at
- Your own hardware library - the hinges, slides and pulls you actually use
- Shop Details, your shop-wide standards, which every new project starts from
- Cut lists, reports and drawings out of the room you designed
- Your work saved to your account and synced across devices
Pro, at a month, is coming soon. Everything listed above is in DIY today.
You pick the plan on your account page after you sign in, and the card details go to Stripe rather than to us. Enterprise, the level that sends jobs straight to a CNC machine, is still being built. Questions before you buy? Email us.
What the Designer will cost
The full kitchen Designer is free for everyone right now. During the open beta it is included when you sign up, with no card and nothing to choose, so the price you pay today is $0. Below is what it moves to once the beta ends on October 31, 2026 (later if we need more time). We are publishing it now so the number is never a surprise, and you will hear from us before anyone is charged.
DIY
$29 / month
Free during the open beta
- For one person designing their own kitchen
- The whole room Designer, and the drawings and cut lists that come out of it
Pro
$89 / month
Free during the open beta
- For a shop that designs for customers
- Everything DIY opens today, with the shop tools alongside it
Enterprise
$229 / month
Not open yet
- For a shop that cuts on a CNC machine
- Send a job straight to the machine, so the parts you designed become the file the router cuts and nobody redraws them in between
- Room for a team on one account instead of one person at one workstation
Enterprise is still being built, so there is nothing to buy there yet and no date on it. How DIY and Pro divide up the rest is still being worked out, and when that is settled you will read it here first. Everything in the list under the full Designer is open to everyone while the beta runs.
What StackDesign and the shop tools cost on their own
These three cover the shop tools: StackDesign, the Cut List Optimizer, and the materials and hardware libraries. They are StackDesign's own plans, for people who want the toolbox-stack tools without the full Designer above. None of these are charging anyone today. They are here so you know what to expect, and so nobody is surprised later.

StackDesign is part of this, and you can buy it on its own
StackDesign, the Systainer wall planner, is one of the CabDesign modules. DIY and Pro both open it, so there is nothing extra to buy and nothing to switch on. The two products run on one account, so whichever you pay for you sign in once.
If toolbox stacks are all you came for, you do not need the whole product. StackDesign sells on its own at $19 a month for as many walls as you want to plan. A single project is $49 one-time, with nothing renewing. Either way you are buying StackDesign and not the kitchen Designer, which is what the plans above are for. It has its own site at stackdesign.app. More modules are on the way, and each one will work the same way: part of CabDesign, or bought by itself.
What costs nothing at all
Most calculators, both libraries and all the guides need no account. The free tools page lists what runs with nothing signed in and saves nothing anywhere.
The money questions, answered plainly
The prices on this page come from the same table our payment provider charges from, and a check on every push fails the build if the page and that table disagree.
What does it cost during the open beta?
Nothing, and we do not ask for a card. Sign up and the whole product is open to you while the beta runs, until October 31, 2026. If we need more time we will tell you by September 30, 2026, and either way we will email you before anything is charged.
What happens when the beta ends?
Your account moves onto a plan on October 31, 2026, and the first month is free, with any months you banked from bug reports or a card code added to it. If you saved a card, the plan then charges every month at the DIY price on this page, and you can cancel online any time before the first charge. If you never saved a card, nothing is charged: your account moves to our free plan, where the Designer stays open and a cut list needs a paid plan.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Open Account settings, press Manage billing, then press Cancel. If you cancel before your first charge date you are not charged at all, and you keep your access to the end of the free period you already have. Later on, cancelling stops the next charge and your access runs to the end of the period you paid for. The refunds and cancellations page has the rest.
What does a plan include?
DIY is for one person designing their own kitchen: the whole room Designer, and the drawings and cut lists that come out of it. Pro is for a shop that designs for customers, and it opens everything DIY opens today, with the shop tools alongside it. Which tools land in which plan is still being worked out, and when it is settled you will read it here first.
Do I have to buy the whole thing to get StackDesign?
No. StackDesign, the Systainer wall planner, is one of the CabDesign modules, and DIY and Pro both open it, so there is nothing extra to buy and nothing to switch on. If toolbox stacks are all you came for, StackDesign sells on its own at stackdesign.app. The two products run on one account, so whichever you pay for you sign in once.
Who do I ask before I buy?
Email support@cabdesign.app and a person answers.
