Roadmap
What is being built next, in the order it is actually being worked on. This is a working shop's list rather than a marketing one, so it changes when a real job shows us something more important, and it says plainly where a decision has not been made yet.
There are no dates on this page. Everything here is being built by a working cabinet shop, and the order changes when a customer hits something that matters more. Giving you a quarter we might miss is worth less than telling you exactly what is next, so that is what this page does.
The one date we have committed to is the beta's. Both products are free until December 31, 2026. Nothing gets charged without an email first.
Being built now
In the Designer
A review of the whole design, in one place
Something that reads the finished job and tells you what is wrong with it, with a fix you can apply in one click. Cut-list warnings move into that same list, so there is one place to look instead of two.
Materials chosen per room, not per job
Material, hardware and front style set for one room or one group of cabinets rather than one answer for the whole job. A kitchen and a laundry in the same project stop having to agree.
A finish for the picture only
Put walnut on a run in the 3D view to see it against the white oak next to it, without changing a thing about what actually gets cut and built.
Inset doors and drawers, the rest of the way
The sizing math is done and shipped. Next is picking the right hinge and slide for an inset build automatically, and a control that sets it per cabinet.
In the AI Designer
Telling it where, not just what
Today it adds cabinets. Next it arranges them: put an upper above the sink base, move the island, work from a position on an island rather than a wall.
Around the account
Your plan, on one screen
What plan you are on, when a free period ends, whether a card is on file, and a cancel button that is one click and not a conversation.
Checkout that knows which door you came in
Arrive from StackDesign and the checkout page carries StackDesign's name and mark, rather than the other product's.
Further out
These are written down in full, with the reasoning, so whoever builds them is not starting from a one-line note. They are not being worked on yet.
- Face-frame corner construction. The most-wanted of everything on this list.
- A sketch or a photo into a cut list for a whole kitchen, the way StackDesign already does it for a storage wall.
- A countertop calculator with a butcher-block cut list.
- The label generator built out on real Avery sheet layouts, past the four sizes that shipped.
- A plan view in StackDesign, running on the same geometry the Designer uses.
- Search across both sites, and inside each section.
- Build guides on both sites, written from real jobs.
How this list gets ordered
By a cabinetmaker, against real jobs. When a feature would have saved a day on the job in the shop this week, it moves up. When something on this list turns out to be solving a problem nobody has, it comes off, and it comes off in public rather than quietly.
Your reports move it more than anything else does. If something here matters to you, or something you need is not on it, write to support@cabdesign.app for CabDesign or support@stackdesign.app for StackDesign. A person reads them and they have changed this order before.
