Using the Cut List Optimizer for sheet layouts

It reaches for remnants first

Your stock is not just full sheets - it includes the offcuts leaning against the wall. The optimizer packs parts onto the fewest sheets and uses remnants before it opens a new sheet, and your sheet stock lives on your account, shared across jobs.

Tell it about your saw once

The saw kerf is a setting, with presets for a full-kerf table saw blade (1/8") and a thin-kerf one (3/32"), and you can type your own. Every cut in the layout honors it. There is an edge-trim setting too, for sheets whose factory edges you do not trust.

Edgebanding is already subtracted

Parts arrive with their edgebanding faces known, and the deduction happens before nesting - so the size on the diagram is the size you cut, and the edgebanded part finishes at its intended size.

Reading the layout

Each sheet gets a nested cut diagram with the exact cut sizes on it, and you can show or hide the kerf lines. When it is time to cut, print the diagrams - the print button lives right in the Cut List view, and also under the More menu as "Print the cut diagrams."
