Filling a wall automatically vs placing cabinets by hand

There are three ways to put cabinets on your wall, and they mix freely: two one-click layout tools, and plain one-at-a-time.

Fill wall

Fill wall adds as many standard cabinets as still fit across your wall width. The button shows the count before you commit - a live "+3" means three more fit - and if a click would add more than three at once, it asks first. The lower and upper tiers each have their own Fill wall button.

Place my Systainers

Place my Systainers builds the wall from the boxes you own that are not on it yet. It fills your empty cabinets first and only adds new cabinets if it has to, and it tells you exactly what it is about to do before it does it. On the upper tier, each Systainer gets its own shelf.

By hand

Add cabinet places one cabinet at a time, and you drag your boxes in - or place them with the keyboard. Level and Clear sit alongside for tidying up or starting a tier over. Hand-placed and auto-placed cabinets are the same thing to the planner; you can run Fill wall and then adjust by hand, or the other way around.

What happens at the top

The cabinet-tops setting decides the skyline. Standard builds every cabinet to the standard height. Flat makes one level top: Place my Systainers grows all the cabinets to the tallest height your fullest cabinet needs, up to your ceiling. Stepped builds each cabinet down to exactly its own stack, so the tops step down cabinet by cabinet.
